Site Launch: Steel Wood Construction’s New Look

Posted by on May 15th, 2016

hasOptimization is proud to announce the new website redesign for our client Steel Wood Construction. Steel Wood Construction is an independent contractor serving Southern New Hampshire. Owner Bill Roy was looking for a new website that would help him generate traffic and potential leads. The old Steel Wood Construction website was a WIX site built website (remember the old WIX site for Tucked In Organics?). The previous site was built so long ago using a Flash builder that the WIX editor no longer supported the design and asked for the site owner to redesign the website in their new editor. While…

Site Launch: Exeter River Co-Op’s New Look

Posted by on April 15th, 2016

hasOptimization is proud to announce the new look of the Exeter River Co-Operative. This community owned property in Exeter, NH was looking for a new, responsive web design to help them get into 2016. The old web design was a basic HTML page. While basic HTML is great for load times, it does not afford the flexibility of a mobile theme and can be hard to navigate on small screen devices. The Exeter River Co-Op site had a lot of information on it that wasn’t necessarily organized in a way that was too easy to find. They had notices, social…

Site Launch: Kelly Interior Painting’s New Look

Posted by on February 5th, 2016

hasOptimization is pleased to announce a launch of a new look for client Kelly Interior Painting, an interior painter out of Southern New Hampshire who was looking for a fresh, new website. Mark Kelly, owner of Kelly Interior Painting, did an incredible job painting the hasOptimization office, and we knew Mark needed a new website that looked as good as the work he was selling. The Kelly Interior Painting website was an old HTML website, with a bit of a dated look and poor mobile capabilities. The original page was built with a basic GoDaddy site builder, which has limited use when…

Site Launch: Antonia Designs’ New Look

Posted by on March 19th, 2015

hasOptimization is pleased to announce the launch of a new look for Antonia Designs, a graphic design specialist in Washington, DC. Antonia has been a longtime client of hasOptimization, and we were thrilled to take over the task of creating a new, sleek website that accurately conveyed Antonia’s design aesthetic and skills. The original site was a quick “first site special” lightly customized WordPress template with a highly constrained budget. The ideas and content were there for Antonia to have a great website, but the design didn’t reflect Antonia’s “bespoke vision”, as her tagline implies. A few years (and a few…

Posted by on January 6th, 2015

hasOptimization is pleased to announce the launch of a new look for Ambrogi Law Office, an elder law specialist inManchester, NH. The Ambrogi project is yet another collaboration with 2DiFore Marketing. We took them off an old, outdated, ultra-basic site and put them into a new look on WordPress–more usability, better SEO, and a crisp new look to go with it. The Ambrogi team was careful and precise about everything to do with their new site–which I’m sure is an attitude they also bring to their own work. Working with the women of Ambrogi Law Office reminded me a great…

We recently completed launch of Catholic Medical Center’s Emergency Management ‘micro’ site, in partnership with 2diFore Marketing. This might be our first ever .org launch! CMC was looking to develop a small site for sharing emergency preparedness and disaster management information. We partnered with 2diFore to create a simple, easily-edited WordPress site that retained the basic branding of the (well-respected) Catholic Medical Center hospital. In addition to providing the development for the site, including theme development, database setup, and content management and setup, hasOptimization also provided a member of the CMC team with a training session on how to manage…

You can do this by going to www.yoursite.com/wp-admin (replace “yoursite” with your real domain name) and entering your WordPress username and password. You are now on your site’s Dashboard. Posted by on December 16th, 2012

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been talking about blog organization. I’ve covered why you should bother organizing your blog, the basics of setting up your blog, and today I’m covering the ever misunderstood Categories and Tags. Categories Categories are the filing cabinets of the blog. You should define a reasonable set of categories that do not overlap, are not overly specific, and will cover most if not all of the content you plan to have on the blog. Six to ten is plenty for the majority of blogs, and it’s often good to define only a couple of…
