Laura’s practice has a special focus on supporting first responders, helping them navigate the unique mental and emotional challenges that come with serving their communities. After years of experience, she has a “greater appreciation for the mental load of holding things together after tough situations, the toll of shift work, the importance of having trusted peers and admin, and the cost of not being able to “unknow” what you know.”

We started with logo work. For the logo, Laura knew what she liked right from the first round,  we landed on a geometric design featuring her initials, LS. The logo feels dynamic which we personally love, it has a sense of balance.

The hasOpt team loves working with clients from the logo up. It’s one of our favorite ways to dig into a brand’s identity and really understand how a client envisions themselves. Seeing a brand come to life from logo to full website is always such a rewarding process.

Laura’s new WordPress site is a full upgrade, now multi-page, more fleshed out, and reflective of the grounded energy she brings to her work. We used nature-inspired visuals throughout and added her client portal for easy access for new and existing clients.

This one was especially fun as our developer Holly and Laura both train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which made for some great creative synergy while building a site that feels professional while featuring some of Laura’s badass Jiu Jitsu shots!

We’re happy to announce the launch of the brand-new website for Counseling Associates, an awesome mental health practice offering services across New Hampshire and Mississippi! From a small office in New London, NH in 2004 to 84 clinical staff in 2025? That’s some serious growth, and now, their website does it justice.

Building this site took a bit longer than our usual turnaround….because this team is huge. Like 80+ clinicians, therapists, interns, group leaders, and medication providers huge. All of whom needed to be represented thoughtfully and clearly. Not to mention the fact that this isn’t just a static brochure site. This is a living, adapting resource for the community.

So many therapists, we needed a spreadsheet

To keep things organized and future-friendly, we built out custom post types for both Therapists and Groups. Each comes with its own shiny template, which means the Counseling Associates team can easily add, update, or remove providers or offerings without having to call us every time they want to tweak a bio or promote a new group therapy session. We love an empowered DIY client.

We also created a custom-coded filterable archive for therapists so users can actually find the right provider instead of scrolling endlessly and hoping someone takes their insurance and sees kids on Thursdays. 

And speaking of insurance, Counseling Associates accepts most of them (which is a super plus), including Medicare and Medicaid. They’re real about access and equity, and their new site reflects that. Built with accessibility in mind, it’s now mobile-responsive, intuitive to navigate, and has user-friendly tools like:

• A Client Portal link right in the header
  
• New client request forms
  
• Professional referral forms
  

They also opted to use their preferred HIPAA-compliant form provider, which was a unique twist on our usual setup. The result was a secure experience for clients and clinicians.

Behind the sleek layout is a mission-driven practice that’s won awards like the 2024 NH Business Excellence Award in Healthcare. Their commitment to inclusivity, growth, and client-centered care isn’t just a catch phrase they use. It’s baked into everything they do. With services spanning telehealth, in-person therapy, child and adult psychiatry, and even a training program for the next generation of clinicians. We’re honored to help them support their communities with a website that grows with them.

Whitaker Place came to us looking for a new site that would be easier to navigate, represented their community, and was easy to update. Luckily they were already familiar with WordPress as their previous website was also a WordPress site. 

They had tons of updates to make to their staff section, calendars, and upcoming events. They also wanted to be sure that they could make these updates themselves in the future.

We set them up with an easy to use site that showcased the beautiful community they have cultivated for their residents as well as clearly conveying what they have to offer. During a post-launch meeting we were able to walk them through the site and go over any doubts they had about using the site. They left confident that they could make ongoing changes and were pleased with the results.

If you have been following hasOptimization for a while, you may recognize Morr Interiors as one of our long-time clients. Owner Stephanie has been working with hasOptimization for quite some time, and even had her a website built with hasOptimization.

While we always tout that we make websites that last, Stephanie’s first website with hasOptimization was created sometime around 2015. That means Stephanie’s website has been running more or less on the same structure and system for eight years.
